End of the World

          I've had many apocalyptic dreams, but this one would be the first where the earth in itself would be destroyed. My false awakening started like any normal day; get out of bed to let my dog Ollie outside to use the bathroom. When I opened the door and told him to go outside a large tree layed out on the ground in front of my home caught my attention. Looking around I noticed another tree behind my house, not completely on the ground yet, but up rooted and leaning at an angle. 

          My first thought was to go next door where my father lived, and tell him how we needed to check the other trees close to our homes before one fell on us. Still early morning the sun wasn't completely up yet, but not dark either. When I started toward his house everything went dark as if it were night time, few seconds later it was morn again. Looking at the sky I remember the light fading quickly then return just as quickly a few seconds later. 

          My heart now pounding I rushed next door where my father and his wife were making breakfast. I told him about the trees and he spoke about the storm that blew through. When i told him about the sky he looked shocked, saying he had see it too. He'd thought he was just seeing things, but now looked concerned as he grabbed his phone and moved over to a window.  I remember describing it to Ami who didnt see it, and looking out a window too. 

          Streams of light filled the sky, each one growing closer and closer. I felt scared thinking we were being bombed and knowing if it landed near us we would be dead. I was wrong. Meteors rained down showering the earth, loud booms echoing over the hills. Not one hitting the house. 

          I called my mother asking if she was alright, seeing if it was happening their aswell. She told me they were fine and they didn't know what was happening. 

          I called my older sister Chelsey to see of she was okay, but she told me she couldn't talk right now and had to go. 

          After that there isn't to much to tell besides how I felt. It turned out we were being sucked in by the sun, whether it was due to the black hole, or getting read to implode. I dont know. Just that we were being drawn in, and not just us but everything in our solar system. 

          It's a strange feeling waiting to die. There wasn't anything anyone could do to stop it. Everyone was going to die. After awhile the power went out. No internet. No cellphones. My mother who loved five hours away, my sister who lived one hour away. I wondered if they were alone. If my cousins Jessic and Ashley were together and their children. What was going through their minds. 

          I wondered if it would hurt, or if it would be quick. Even thought of ending it myself rather then waiting. Temperatures steadily rising outside, you could see everything withering. Logically speaking we probably would have died off much quicker compared to my dream. Was very morbid that one. What interested me the most about this dream is how accurate it could be.
